This work is the product of a series of community workshops in which residents in Salina, KS designed quilt panels to raise awareness about endangered, threatened and high-risk species in the state of KS. The artist then re-created these panels in earthenware clay.

Workshops were held during the summer of 2018, and the quilt was completed at the end of 2019. The exhibition and return of this work to Salina was delayed by COVID until 2021.
